Mike Goldwing, un garçon courageux et déterminé de 12 ans, est le fils et petit-fils d'astronautes de la NASA. Quand un milliardaire excentrique fait un plan diabolique pour voler les ressources minérales énormes de la lune et détruire le drapeau américain planté par l'équipe d'Apollon XI, Mike s'engage dans une aventure magnifique comme passagé clandestin sur la navette spatiale. Accompagné par son grand-père et sa meilleurs amis Amy ainsi que Marty un caméléon, Mike décolle sur la lune pour capturer le drapeau et réunir sa famille.
